The Alecto Systems VIDAR™ family of power supplies feature the most technologically advanced power and controls system available in power supply design. The VidarTMinduction power supplies come in twenty sizes ranging from 50KW to 2000KW, and are engineered to operate within a 1KHz and 50KHz frequency range. Modern IGBT (Integrated Gated Bipolar Transistor) inverter technology replaces older SCR systems, and utilizes conservative design so the power supply can run continuously at 100% power output.

All VIDAR™ power supplies utilize a color graphics operator interface for displaying and for controlling the functions of the power supply system.
